The musical style of Am Tuat is best described as 'progressive metal'. The blending of many different musical backgrounds of each member, makes the music dynamic, interresting and distinctive.

Since the formation in 2003, their musical style has continiously developed to the present day. Having played on festivals and concerts with bands like Within Temptation, After Forever, Turisas, Sinister, Officium Triste and many others shows that Am Tuat can be booked for any occasion.

The past year Am Tuat has been working on a making their own style in the metal-genre. Not keeping themselves to the conventional ideas, Inmotion holds their own view of which they can say that it is Am Tuat. Easy listening rock, jazz and even Pink Floyd-like influences can be heard in the music according to listeners |

Not as in what the musical pieces are; but the atmosphere it breathes. "Inmotion" is therefore not compareable to the earlier work "Illusions of Time" and "Secunda Ante Meridiem". While these demo's were of great importance for the development, Inmotion is a completely new direction for both the musicians and for the band. |
